I finally received my computer from asus. Yay! Unfortunately there were some problems with the laptop initially, and I'll just say now that if you do happen to purchase an asus computer, make sure to turn on all of the anti-virus software... Because it comes turned off. l:( BUT! Other than that it works fine. The recent problems with downloading flash and not being able to receive my flash files on this computer slowed me down a bit, but by the end of the week everything will be transferred and set and I should have a comic out by at least Saturday. I'm going to try to finish the scripts for all of our voice actors within the next week so we can begin recording sessions by mid-February. If we do end up starting on time then recording will be done by March. By that time, the plan is to spend all of my time working on the final animation. I will make sure to do a comic and a blog per week, but it will most likely be on Fridays or Saturdays. I'm also going to spend some time doing a few of the video ideas I mentioned in the previous Post, which will prolong the making of the final pilot episode, but I think it's important to have other projects to focus more effectively. Sorry about not having a picture for this one... I'll just throw something on the end so it's not too boring. See Ya!
Hey, Guys... I know it's been a while since I last wrote a blog, but I'm just going to cut the apology and assume that you forgive me. Awesome! So basically, the plan is to have my laptop in by next week. I'm going to try to order it, either off newegg or amazon, this week. At that point we will be able to work on gaming videos, podcast, the animation for the first episode, and a few other ideas we've had, such as scary noodles where we read creepy pastas, video game reviews which we will be doing when we've played a game long enough to think we can accurately judge it, as well as weekly comics and blogs such as this one. Okay, now I'll go into more detail as to how the videos will be made and when they will be coming out. Now, the gaming videos will be more than just let's plays, in fact, it will probably have little if not any actual playthroughs. When we play a game, (Minecraft, Destiny, Arma 3, Grand Theft Auto 3, Halo series, and any other online indie games or suggestions we get) we're probably going to play for around an hours length of time and then do editing to cut out unfunny or unimportant parts. Every gaming video will be a montage of the funniest moments, unless we get enough people asking for an entire playthrough. There will be facecams, but they're going to be animated, or at least, partially animated. For this reason, the videos may take a while at first, but after a few, we will have compiled enough frames to the point where we won't even need to do any drawing, just syncing with the sound. Games will be followed up by a podcast reciewing it. And speaking of podcasts... Every episode we will have a set topic or topics that we will talk about. These conversations will be entirely unscripted, but may be censored due to offensive content and Jimmy. The video will include a shaded picture of each character who is currently speaking which will light up when they are talking. This will allow you to tell who is talking at what time as I'm sure many of us will sound similar to you at some point. We will take as many suggestions for ideas from viewers as possible. After a while we may have 1 per week, but I'm not making any promises! That's all I have for now. There will be another comic coming this week sometime and another blog and comic next week. Ba Bye!
